Baodao Vehicle Industry Group was founded in 1997, with its headquarters located in Xinkou Industrial Park, Xiqing District, Tianjin. It is a large‑scale specialized enterprise manufacturing bicycles, electric bicycles, electric tricycles, fuel‑assisted vehicles, electric motorcycles, electric automobiles and special electric four‑wheel vehicles. GELIN is one of the core brands under Baodao Vehicle Industry Group.

The Group also owns supporting manufacturing subsidiaries for batteries, motors, controllers, paint coating, plastic parts, aluminum‑alloy & iron frames, wiring harnesses and other components, making it one of the enterprises with a complete industrial‑chain layout in the industry.
